Lab Cert Tips: CBD VS THC.

All of the products at American Wholesale Hemp come with third-party testing and our products are equipped with QR codes that lead to their laboratory certifications (Lab Cert). You will find our products are known to not contain THC except, our Hempyre Genetics products. All of our Hemp Flower is compliant with the U.S. Federal Farm Bill.

Below is a quick slideshow to help you locate and determine whether your CBD rich product contains THC. THC stands for tetrahydrocannabinol, which is the most well-known ingredient in cannabis. THC is what gives you the psychoactive feeling or the feeling of being high.

THC will cause a good majority of drug tests to deliver a positive result. While you are choosing your preferred brand, be sure to always check if they have third-party testing and QR coding so you know exactly what you’re applying. If you have located an American Wholesale Hemp product you can scan the QR code as you can see in the slideshow below.

Step 1: Locate the QR Coding on your CBD product, whether it’s on the packaging or on the product labeling.

Step 2: Pull out your phone and scan the CBD product to bring up the link to your Lab Cert (Laboratory Certification).

Step 3: Locate the Batch Code on the packaging or on the product labeling. Type in the batch code in the search window.

Step 4: We’ve provided an example of a lab cert from F.A.S.T. Labs of our Hempyre Farms Cherry Bomb which are compliant within the U.S. Federal Farm Bill and contain 0.3% THC or below. We also provided an example of a lab cert from our PCRX Balm that contains 0% THC.

Now let’s take a look at a product that contains U.S. Farm Bill compliant Hempyre Farms Cherry Bombs.

You will notice that you can find the THC in a product in two locations. Locate the Cannabinoid Distribution. Just above Cannabinoid Distribution, you will see “Total THC”. On the left, our PCRX Balm shows “-” because the product doesn’t contain THC. On the right, you will notice our Hempyre Farms Cherry Bomb says 0.35% for “Total THC”.

The 2nd place you will find THC is in the Cannabinoid Distribution chart. Take a look at the F.A.S.T. Labs Cert on the right. You can see all 4 of the THC categories highlighted on the right. D9-THC, D8-THC, THCa & THCv. THCa shows 3.5 meaning this product contains THC.

Our PCRX Balm (Lab Cert on the left) contains 0 THC, so all four categories show 0. Meaning this product doesn’t contain THC.

Hope this helps you in the future when selecting your CBD products.
